I just finished putting all the goodies on her today. It's still too damned cold for me to go see how she shoots.
Savage 110BA in 300 WM. Vortex crossfire in Burris low rings and YHM risers. El cheapo bipod. Upgrades someday.

One guy said you couldn't use it on the other side of the folder anyway, and I told him you would just have to remove the ammo strip. I got bored and krylon'd my AI last night. I couldn't talk myself into doing the scope because of how it has to be removed and I'm not comfortable having those chemicals that close to the lenses on a expensive ass scope. I may send it off and get a ceracoat base coat done in Khaki then camo over that but I'm going to see how the paint on the rest of the rifle wears firsts because I may just send the whole thing off and have it done if it wears off the plastic stock sides too quick.

Well I've finally got hold of my new rifle and have taken some pictures. Won't get to shoot it before Thursday next week and that will just be to run it in as I'm waiting for some Lapua Cases before I work up a load for it.

Scope is mounted with a LaRue Tactical Base as its being used on two rifles at present, I have some Third Eye Tactical Rings to mount the scope that will be dedicated to this rifle. |
