With so many of us now shooting the RPR, how about we start a thread for loads that are shooting well in these guns?
Please list caliber, Bullet, powder/charge, case, primer, and OAL. It'd be great to see a picture of groups as well. 243 105 Hornady BTHP 41.5 H4350 Hornady case Wolf large rifle 2.800" iirc MOA I also tried H414, but I need to try to find a node. 308 168 Nosler BTHP 42.0 Re15 LC Wolf large rifle 2.790" MOA With the 308, any longer, and I am jammed. |

Is it failing to feed right or is it getting jammed up in the mag? Quoted:

Are you FL sizing the cases? Any idea how far off the lands you are loading? Quoted:

It sounds like they used a "95 Palma" reamer on the .308. Have you tried other bullets from Hornady or Sierra?
I consider 42.0 grains of RE-15 with 168 grain .30 bullets in Lake City brass a maximum load in a standard chamber. Try going lighter in .5 grain increments to see if your groups tighten up. Have you run the loads over a chronograph to see where you're at? |

Stock Gen1 RPR 6.5 CM with APA Gen2 Little Bastard Brake. Hornady Brass - outside neck turned to .0125", uniformed primer pocket, neck sized only Federal GM210M primer Hornady 140 grain ELD-M 41.9 grain Reloder 17 .046 off the lands (COAL limited by the stock PMAG magazine, although I now have the PMAG MAG579 that will allow me to try longer COAL's) 2830 FPS (4800 feet elevation 50 degrees) Here are three 100 yard targets during load development: I stretched it out to 200 yards during load development and still managed to keep it under 1 moa: Last time out I shot at 800 yards. Dope sheet had me on steel at the first shot, after a scope adjustment I shot 5 rounds for group. The first four had me excited and then the 'ever popular flyer' ruined the group - don't know if it was me or the the cartridge (or the rifle). |

.308 Enhanced RPR
LC05 brass CCI #200 36.0gr IMR 4895 2.8" oal Pulled Sierra 220gr SMK 2072fps average at 5' from the chrono (ARK30 suppressor, that's why so close to chronograph) 5/8" 100yd 5 shot groups repeatedly I know a 220gr bullet is heavy for the .308 so my loads are not fast, but I have lots of them bought cheap years ago for shooting subsonic 300 Blackout of which I never used very many, and this load is accurate to me and my ability. 37.0gr shot nearly the same, but gave higher pressure signs, so I kept with the 36.0gr load. This coming weekend will be my first try at 300yd. |

Ive used 40.2gr imr 4064 in lapua brass with berger 230 10 thou off lands @2230fps very low sd/es single digits
Smk 175 with 42.5 gr 4064 at 2.82oal are 2700fps(magnetospeed) Both from my 16" dta covert suppressed (SiCo Omega) Both sub moa and work well to 600 in high winds but i just use the smk 175s now, I like my magazine on my gun |
