[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Definitions - What is a Precision Rifle?

Can someone please provide the definition of a precision rifle?

With all the different types of matches today and purpose built rifles, I not sure exactly how a precision rifle is defined. 1 MOA, 0.25 MOA?

Some match types:

1. Tactical - The PRS - a tactical style shoot

2. F-Class, various ranges and classes - a long range accuracy shoot

3. IBS, benchrest, various ranges and classes - long range high accuracy shoots.

A clear definition of what makes a precision rifle would be great.
