Fuck quick fletch and by association Gold Tip.
I have used Easton for a long time, but I diminished my stockpile of arrows after many moons of flinging sticks. The local Archery shop sells Gold Tip almost exclusively so I figured rather than hunting shit down, I could switch. Well, the shop uses Quick Fletch to fletch all of the arrows. And I mean all their arrows. After only a few flings all the fletchings are coming off. A few of them come off when I release so I have fucked up 4 out of the 6 fucking arrows. Best part, the shop won't replace the arrows. I bought them the same fucking day. My final assessment: FUCK QUICK FLETCH WITH A DULL, FLAMING, RUSTY, HIV INFECTED RAKE!! Fuck! /end rant. Anyone else have any type of shitty mishap with arrows, wraps/fletchings, or shitty fucking arrow sellers? |

Quoted: Are you talking about the quickfletch wraps that you dunk in hot water? If so I used a few a couple years ago, they held up well. That's shitty the shop won't take care of you. I've tried those too and actually really like them. Maybe the shop is manned by dumb-asses. |

If they're falling off that bad, it sound more like a prep problem than the adhesive itself.
Buy the jig, a tube of fletchtite and a big bag of feathers online and DIY. Make sure the shop knows you're bypassing them by going back to get a tiny bag of feathers for your off-color. |

See the shop and I have had a really good relationship until this point. I have lost all faith in quick fletch now.
So the hive's concensus is that it is a dumbass problem rather than a design problem. Interdasting. Those that have fletched themselves with quick fletch, what size arrows are you running? |
| I used them all this season on my gold tip velocity xt's. The problem your having is most definitely installation error. If you just dunk them in hot water real fast they get bubbles in between the wrap and the shaft. In turn they don't adhere very well and come apart after a few shots. I experienced this first hand on the first three I did. |

Went to a competitor's shop and picked up some Easton Flatlines. Didn't go with the quick fletch (mainly because they came already fletched but also because of a lingering hatred) but I have already flung them at my target and I supremely satisfied.
Now if I can only hit a deer with one.
