Can anyone recommend someone who can lighten my Versa Max bolt other than Benny Hill.  I like him and his reputation, I'm just not a fan of the vertical cuts.  I prefer the look of the Salient bolts but they aren't doing custom parts anymore.  And yes, if it doesn't sacrifice performance, looks matter to me.

Also is there someone who can do a trigger job on this?  I really don't like the feel of the trigger on it.  It's like 20lbs and gritty.  For that I would have gone with Benny Hill, but he said he doesn't do trigger work.

Thanks a lot in advance

But, do some research on the VM before you get the carrier lightened.  I don't believe there is any benefit gained by it being lightened.

That's what I read at first but according to Benny Hill and some other smiths, it's worth it for what I want.  I'm not so worried about decreasing recoil as much as increasing the cyclic rate.  And from what I've read it doesn't effect recoil as much on the VM but it still increases the cyclic rate.  I also would like to be able to ghost load.

Mike at Accurate Iron did a fantatsic job with my M2, and I know he does some work on Versa Max shotguns as well. Also has unbeatable prices, definitely look him up. You won't be disappointed!
