How do you load the 11-87 with the crappy bottom feed tube? More specifically do you hold the release button down with 1 hand and feed shells into the tube with other hand?
Thanks, Mike |

All one hand, generally the non shooting hand, hold shell with brass under thumb down by middle knuckle, depress the buttn and gate with the shell tip, start tip into magazine, rotate hand so that pad of thumb is remaining contact with headstamp, shove fully past shell stops.
On skeet range, with the 20 gage I used to rotate the gun over so the button was face up. Smack the button firmly with shell tip and slide toward the mag tube, keeping the elevator depresed. With the 12 gage doing police type drills I don't rotate the gun upside down, but load like above keeping my firing hand in place and retreiving shells with the support hand. Either way you need to hold the shell with a firm grip to smack the button, maintain pressure and slide it into the tube. Always remember to shove it extra deep. You will hate life if you have a shell not get caught by the shell stops on the mag tube. A shell above/behind the elevator is a serious gun out of action problem requiring you to remove the trigger assembly. |
| DMW EZ Loader. It works even better if you trim it to about 2/3 the original length. Hands down the best modification you can do to an 1100/11-87 by far. |

If you feel like its too much gunsmithing for you to do since they are a pain to install send your trigger group to them and they will install it for a very small price!! |
| I think I checked their site out pretty well and was not able to find any contact info, other than an email address. I hate to turn to the locals as they do not have much of a reputation concering anything beyond basic parts swapping and this product seems to require taking a file to metal! |
| Thanks, I found the number and talked with Dave yesterday. Couldnt ask for a nicer guy to be handling customer service. He told me to send it to him and he would do it for me. Cant wait to try that weak hand reload and even have something even wilder that I want to try!!! Thanks again and back at yall later. |
