Alright fellas I have a beretta 1200 fs ( said to be .99 percent the same
Thing as a benelli m1 super 90). I love it for 3 gun and just shot my
4th match with it.  With this being a 6 + 1 + 1  anyone know how to
Load the "ghost round". It is suppose to sit above the lifter?  YouTube and the
Typical google search is turning up nothing.

Remember on a beretta 1200 you can't put any in the mag until there
Is one in the chamber

Presumably like a Benelli:

1) Pull the bolt back then release it to close on an empty chamber. Apply safety.
2) Stuff the magazine tube to full capacity.
3) PARTIALLY retract the bolt just far enough to stuff a shell in the chamber (but not so far as to lock it open). While holding the bolt back with one hand, place a shell all the way into the chamber then place a second shell on top of the carrier (push it down as much as you can). Now ease the bolt forwards - it should pass over the "ghost" shell and close on the chambered shell.

Voila !

Yes it goes above the lifter.  Load the tube, pull back bolt most of the way but not so far as to have the lifter pop up, place shell on top of lifter, place shell in chamber, let bolt go forward.  Not sure how that would work if you had to put a round in the chamber first unless you could take it back out after you loaded the tube.

Also to ghost load an M2 you have to modify the bolt by filling in the back notch on the underside, I think you must do the same thing for an M1.

You should be able to ghost load the 1200 with no mods, some are a little easier than others. Mods will make it easier and quicker.
