So i want to record some first person views of my matches. I dont usually wear a hat and i wear earpros so no over the head mounts. Im thinking a very small camera mounted on the side of my sunglasses? Have u seen the looxcie bluetooth ? It streams video so its overkill for what i need.

Any suggestions?

First person videos aren't all they're cracked up to be.  I tried it for awhile but all I got was the side of my gun.  You want to have someone film you from afar so you can use the video to see what your doing good and bad.  Get film of the good shooters too so you can really figure out where the time goes.

thanks man. i try to get my fellow shooters to film my stages. i just like the first person view you know. i did see a guy that has a camera on a arm coming out of a backpack so you could see his head, gun and all the targets.

I have my go pro mounted to my ear protection using one of the 3M sticky pieces and a small 90* arm.  It works out well and gives a good first person perspective if that is what you are going for.

Coincidentally, I actually just ran across this today:

http://pivothead.com/

Somewhere on the site it says something about certain models having been designed to meet the Z87 safety spec, but that they haven't submitted them for testing yet, or something like that.

ive seen some of them but on some videos when shooting rifle/shotgun all you see is the back of the gun due to the shooters head angle.

Yeah, suppose that makes sense.  I was thinking more USPSA/IDPA when I saw it, forgot to take long guns into account.  :)
