My daughter wants to use a Slidefire for a hog hunt in Florida this November and we have been talking about a Hili hunt in Texas in April.
I am not sure about the practicality of using a slide fire for hog hunting. If anyone has any experience using a slide fire for hogs please chime in. I should give some info. My daughter is 16, she HATES hogs. She is an excelent shot and puts me to shame, last fall she shot a running hog at 140 yards. She is very familiar with ARs. |
| I don't see it as practical. Although I want the hogs gone there might be other animals that could be in the background or line of fire especially in Texas with lots of exotics. I also am not against a Slidefire, I have one, and love playing with it but I don't use it on animals. April is a great time for Axis in Texas by the way. |

Meh, I doubt it would be effective except for very close ranges. But you should try it and let us know how it works. Take video. :)
