Took a father n son out and after 90 miles, a dozen fields and no hogs sighted..We caught this guy tearing up a corn field 600 yards from my house!

Scorpion 320's on top of gas piston 223's with 75g BTHP "walked him into the light".

For size/weight.. The father on the right is 6'7 and 260lbs..

That is a good boar...prolly near 500 if not more. If I knew the lenth between the ear & bung hole I could give a guess thats close enough.

So far the father/son kills have been the best for me, then husban/wife. just maybe the son's go with hunting better...There is just a feeling I don't normaly get while they are in the after the kill bond !

I know how you feel about the DRAWN OUT hunt...I like it better to get them on hogs with-in the first hour...then its like I can relax and it seems to get more results.

Pretty cool that both of us had a F/S hunt the same weekend and changed there lives.

Thanks for posting the pic of the beast.

I'm right there with ya man. Getting my hunters in hogs early sure does make for a much less stressful night! I really love getting family's on hogs together, you know its something they are going to remember for the rest of their lives.. Good stuff. The last 3 months Ive had 90% family hunts.
