Do you need to put a floor in a hog trap, you know like the same kind of panel's or or wire mesh you used for the side's and top ??? I ask because I did not and some guy's told me they will dig out like a dog will dig out of the back yard.

Given enough time they will root under....if they get there nose out the rest of 'em will follow.
'T' post might hold the trap down..but it goes to a enough time thing.
I like to use bottoms...just shovel the last rooted dirt in it...I've caught them like that....they will return to where they have already been.
Using fresh rooted dirt is my best trick for traps.

We use traps with and without bottoms. I prefer traps with bottoms because they don't need to be staked down or held in place with t-posts. If you get big hogs in a trap without a bottom and it's not staked or t-posted in place they can push it a long way and if they get it to an uneven area they can get out under the bottom. The only thing about having a trap with a bottom is that you need to find a more level place to put it or you need to put dirt inside like dehog mentioned.

I've trapped hundreds and hundreds of hogs and we build and sell traps to people all over Texas and we've had people come from as far away as Nashville, Tenn to pick up some of our traps, so I've got a little trapping experience.
