Whats the skinny on hog slaying around there? |
| What is the land used for, cattle, hay, deer hunting? Most likely there are pigs on that much property, they are thick around Bastrop. You are from Oregon? Come down and we will hook up for a hog hunting weekend. I hunt hogs all over central TX to help land owners and farmers out. They cause a lot of destruction and cost farmers/ranchers nearly $20 million a year in TX alone. Ask your co-workers's wife's father if he sees signs of them out there. |

From what I know, He runs a few cows and he says there are quite a few hogs on his place. He eve said he has quite a few deer too. We may wait and try to head out and hunt some deer too. It should be a cheap trip, Air fare and enough money to live on for a week. If I stay away from the beer

| Sure, plenty of deer in TX to go around but you will need a visitor hunting license. The season for bucks ends soon, but there is a doe and spike season in January. Bastrop is only 20 minutes from the airport. Shoot me a line if and when yall end up coming, if yall come between January 4-9th I will take you out dove hunting, just minutes from the airport I have 5 leases and I would be happy to help yall get into those pigs as well, they can be pretty illusive sometimes.
