Depends on the game.

>.375 is the general rule of thumb for dangerous game

For plains game, anything you can shoot well. Lots of .270s, 7mm-08, etc used on the various antelopes.

It's funny I was about to pull the trigger on the stainless rsi version and was doing a little price shopping on gunbroker and happened to see it listed. Then I googled and found the article on lipseys that was 2 days old . Ordered it the next day.

I would have been pissed if I bought the stainless then this came out not enough funds for both . And both being limited I don't think it would have lasted long enough to save up for it

I have the SS/Walnut RSI M77 that came out a few years ago.  But it is marked 7x57 instead of 275 Rigby.

Goes nice with my Ruger No 1 RSI in ....... 7x57
