It looks like fall.... But it was actually 86 degrees by lunchtime. Wow was it hot...  You can't change the weather, so we went hunting anyway.  Going after chuckar in the woods first. It's cooler in there.  All those birds tend to tire a Brittany out. Nothing like a chuckar feather pillow...  My elderly Labra-daughter made her father proud today.  Thank goodness for shade and irrigation ponds. All in all, we shot nearly double what we paid for...the guys who hunted the fields yesterday left a target rich environment for us. The birds acted wild, the dogs could not have done better, and no attorneys were shot in the face. Thanks to Mrs. 7M3 for taking the pics. |
