I live in SD. Lets talk pheasants. Lots and lots of them! They are everywhere. I have to shoosh them off the steps in the morning to let the dog out to work out some energy. I can't wait for October!

I've hunted pheasants in PA.

Glad PA stocks them. Fun to hunt and good to eat!

What do you have? I pheasant/hun/duck hunt back home (MT) with my dad's Field-bred Springer. Most people out there go with a Lab, but are shocked when Lola works 10 times harder than theirs do - and brings back the birds to prove it. Field retrieves, water retrieves, thick brush, whatever. If it flies, it dies and she'll bring it to you!
