I don’t know where they all come from, this year they have all been within  100 yards from the house, except one way out at 300.

Got one under my barn.

Dual traps have been set.

Rig is a T/C Encore with 12" Bulberry barrel in 22LR, 4-12× Burris LER scope atop it. Weighs around 9lbs. Good for minute-of-flea shots to 60yds.

Past that, switch to a 15" 22-250 w/ 2.5-8x Leupold Vari-X EER. I have to load up some pistol specific 40 or 50gr VMax rounds for this barrel. It's my go to for chuck work out to 150ish yards.

Pics hopefully to follow.

Not 2h after I posted the above I got #1. Traps back around the burrow to see if more are present.

Shotar, if this belongs in a different thread feel free to move it.

No problems. Anything to remove the varmint cong is fair game.

Apparently I have a family under the barn.

#2 was in the trap this morning; now it's in the ground. They're not venturing far enough out from the buildings to give me a clean shot without risk of a round going onto nearby property so the burrow exit is covered with traps and obstacles.

We'll see how many more surface.

84” Frontier grooming mower.  Great for short range work.
