Had my first day of ground squirrel elimination of the spring. A lovely irrigated alfalfa field - before they start irrigating. Rifles were Savage Anchutz M12 and H&R Sportster in .17HMR -both single shots! total rounds 100 .17 Hornaday v-max and 236 winchester X-pert LHP Total gopher casualties were 212. All of my winter practice paid off!!
