They were living in my neighbor's attic after they pulled the soffit down.  She just let them be so I figured I'd take care of them.  Had to wait for them to land on my property though, didn't want to miss and put holes in her siding or something.  Got em both inside an hour.  I'm awful proud of myself, I haven't shot any birds or squirrels since I was 12 or 13.

Anyone ever eat pigeon?  I considered it but the unknown scared me off.

love it!! We need more city limit killers!! keep up the good work, no season no bag limit

I ran into a Bear the day before and decided to pack a little bigger gun. A .223 W/55gr. V-Max is'nt very comforting, when you have a Black Bear eye balling you at 70 yds.

No varmints picts but we were shooting them.

I bought another Marlin 917 a few weeks ago.  Shortened the stock about 3 inches so my 11 and 7 year old sons could shoot it.  Took them out today for some prairie dog action.  My 7 year old still had a hard time shooting prone but my 11 year old had several kills all over 100 yards.

That looks like it would be a ball shooting Grass Rats all day, we only have Ground Hogs around here and it is becoming hard to find and kill many since our local Farmers have hit the "Corn Explosion" and plant corn in every bit of cleared ground.
I always wanted to come out West & shoot P-Dogs but never got around to it
Good Looking Kids and I bet they love shooting P-Dogs and their Hummers

This is from 2005 or 2006.  I had 5 of them under my bow stand while deer hunting.  You guys and your silly guns...they are a lot easier to shoot at 10 yards!!!!

Well, after a solid miss on a fox last weekend (my first calling trip of the season), I'm back in the saddle again with a headshot on this coyote at 40 yards. I also saw a bobcat this morning while walking to a stand, but it was a ways off and I was totin the shotty for some brush work. Oh well, next time.

You are a lucky man to have all that "FUN" hopping around out there
I have heard that some states have open season on Cottontails also, Cottontail hunting is a tradition around here, I LOVE hearing the dogs work on a good track and Cottontail Rabbit sure tastes good also
I need to get my ass out of GD and into these hunting forums much more than I do

The rabbit #'s are way down this year. We only killed about 40 in 2 nights. Last time I was   there (4 years ago) we got over 100 just 1 day,

About 8 miles from my house there is a place to go cottontail hunting. A local beagle club goes out there and hunts them pretty hard. Ive been invited to go and it was a blast. Good eats too.

rizzo and Hyperwrxx,

Where in AZ do you guys hunt?  You don't have to give away you exact spots, just curious to the general area.

I'm in Flagstaff right now but have lived in Mesa the last 19 years.  We hunt Javelina in unit 37B (out by florence junction) every year.

Coyotes are everywhere, really. Hyperwrxx is in Gilbert and I'm in Prescott, but we hunt this state from top to bottom. This weekend we'll be up north, tearin it up for three days straight. We'll post the pictures after the slaughter.

I've killed many coyotes in 37B.  I was there last Saturday morning before it got too windy to call.  As Mr. Rizzo said- the state gets scoured.

AZ is a coyote-rich area.  AZ, TX, UT, NV, CA, NM. its all fantastic.

I am going to try and get out soon, I have had 5 hip replacements and fell 3 weeks ago while Goose Hunting and my Leg started hurting.
Went to the Cleveland Clinic yesterday and I may have a hair line fracture around the implant.
DR said to stay off of my leg for 4 weeks and it MAY heal, if not I may need surgery to repair it
There is NO WAY that I can or will stay off of my leg for ONE day let alone 4 weeks
I may only get to go 2-3 times so I will have to pick my area wisely as in either the easiest walking or riding in the Polaris Ranger ?
You guys keep killing them and posting Pics so I can at least have a smile on my face

Double fox - my dad hit the first one with a .22 to the head, then the second one swung around to me and I dusted her with the shotgun.

A good morning when you get to kill two foxes on one stand with your dad.
