Posted this over in the GA hometown forum...I killed this Buck on the Farm on Monday .
(of course some non hunting hippe fuckwad had to shit in my thread  ) Thought I would share it with like minded folks.
Killed this one on Monday afternoon hunting planted pines in Bleckley county. He stepped out at 30 yds at 6pm. Don't believe the myths about hunting a full moon and/or hunting in high winds.

Nice buck bro! How dare you show a picture of that beautiful 760 pump and not say one word about it.
My dad gave me one when I left home almost 30 years ago. I still have that gun. It's in 30-06 and a carbine. Doesn't get used much anymore but your pic has inspired me to get it out and knock some dust off of it. |

It was my Dads and its has killed a heap of deer. Its a 30.06 as well...best caliber in the woods in my opinion. Here goes some more pics of it and deer it has taken.

Yep, while I do agree things tend to slow down during a full moon the deer don't stop moving entirely, they have to eat. I saw about 15 today including a NICE 8pt. Rifle season doesn't start until saturday though.
