[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Game camera question

I have no experience with these. What I want to know is if a game camera takes a picture of me, is it likely that I will notice or hear anything?

Basically there's a local guy who I believe has put up game cameras on my neighbor's property without permission. Fair chance she wouldn't care anyway, though on a side note the guy is a dirt bag. I walk the dog down there frequently and obviously I'm not real keen on having my picture taken. Just wondering if it happens, how likely is it that I'll know if the camera location isn't obvious.

If it's a model with a IR flash you wont notice it unless you see the camera itself.

i saw in reviews that the Primos trail cameras make a auditable click when the picture is taken. but i have not heard it first hand.

If it takes your picture during the day you'll never know. If it takes your picture at night then you'll see the flash unless it's an IR camera then you'll never know.
