Busted Series Pic on left side, pulling his head up
or Semi Sneak Head Up Or any other suggestions w/ pics? Here is the buck in question

I have only seen 1 good "sneak" mounted deer.
It was truly awesome though. Most others were hack jobs and the deer look retarted. I was not a big fan of that pose untill I saw the good one. If you have 2 "regular" upright mounts than a sneak pose would compliment them. Make sure you have a good taxidermist however. ETA I like the 3000 series semi sneak....ALOT! BTW - nice deer! |
| I like the 3000 series but I am leaning towards the head up 6400 series. My taxidermist is very good, http://www.ramseywildlifedesigns.com/ |

IIRC that mount looks great, looks almost like a full sneak v a semi sneak. either way looks great. Thanks. Believe it or not, the catalog's full sneak was different. I can't remeber which place we ordered it from. I have to say that at any angle other than the one that I took the pics from, it looks quite a bit different. I really never noticed how much those pics make it look stretched out till you said something. it's kinda strange compared to real life.
ETA: I'm thinking it was listed as a straight semi sneak, slight left turn? |

I've got the 6K semi on that guy that I posted in your HTF thread. I will get a pic up soon.
I think that busted would be really neat if pulled off right. As said above, if too high, it would look weird. On the first link down the page a little.. I would like to see the "relaxed sweep looking down" in person. That looks like a really interesting mount.. and not already on your buddy's wall. My only regret on the mount that I did, I see alot of it. |
