Can someone recommend some other online place to buy a ladderstand.
It seems that everyplace around me is sold out and won't be getting anymore till fall.
I can only seem to find some at Cabela's website, which are big $$$ and the ones at sportman's guide are to short.
I'm hoping to still find a good deal on one or two.
Thanks

Bass Pro shops should have some or try Gander Mountain.

Maybe Dicks or Acadamy Sports.

Cabelas had some in their bargain cave.

Man, it's too bad you are so far away.  Our local Rural King has a butt load of them on clearance.  They are probably too heavy to ship, but I bought one of the two-man 17' ones for my wife for $90 (regularly $169) and a 15' swivel seat, big round platform ladder type, one for me for $169 (regular $269).

If there's a way to ship it I would see what they still have and get one for you.  I think they weigh about 130#, IIRC.

Academy Sports has a nice ladder stand for $100 if I remember correctly. Cabelas had the same one for $200. Good luck on your purchase! Troy

That's the trouble with ladder stands. I hunt a MINIMUM of 20' high, and there are few that are that high to the platform. Some will try to fool you and say a certain height, but it's measured to the rail and not the platform.

Be careful ordering heavy items like that from Bass Pro Shops or other online sporting goods vendors.  I ordered a Strongbuilt Luxury box ladder stand from Bass Pro about a year or so back and they sent it via UPS.  The box they pack the stand in was very flimsy and the contents pretty heavy.  The gorillas at UPS busted the crap out of the box and it came bent up and missing pieces.  Bass Pro was very good about taking it back but the next one then sent came via UPS again and in worse condition.  On the third attempt they sent it Fed Express and that also came busted up but luckily I was able to put the two damaged boxes together and get enough pieces for one stand.  It was a very frustrating 2 month process.  You are much better off buying from someone who truck ships a bunch of them to a store rather than rely on UPS to get it to you undamaged.  In my area Dick's Sporting Goods generally has the best prices on tree stands and super deals on leftovers after hunting season.  Sam's Club also had a nice ladder stand last hunting season, as I recall.
