So I got my first kill of the season this morning. Coulda had my limit but I passed up waiting for a buck. I killed it using Bow and Arrow. Muzzleloader opened this morning, but A) I don't have a Muzzleloader B) can use any type of gun where I was hunting C) I prefer to use a bow over a gun . It was a broad side shot 25 yards w/ a full pass through. "tracked" for about 50 yards or less   |
| Nice job! This past deer hunt I was converted to the idea of bow hunting. I already have the gear, just never have done it. Rifle hunts seem to be little to no challenge (as I prefer meat and don't care for a trophy buck, that happens when the first one you get is a trophy and every time it is a one-shot one kill situation). So this next year I will be joining the family on bowhunt to see that I have a lot to learn. |
