Anybody know what it'll cost?

There is a guy in one of the Facebook groups selling fully built ones for $500, if I am not mistaken. He says he just likes building them. Not sure if that would have any bearing at all on how much China might charge.

Does anyone have a link to purchase these?

Please don't buy these shit chinese knockoffs. The originator spent a lot of time and money coming up with a great radio for a great price and it's not 'fair' to him to buy this crap.  Note too that the reports are that you will not be satisfied, the parts will almost certainly be sub-optimal.

Just my $.02

BTW, I have a nearly complete 0.4 kit (missing a couple of parts and the screen) that I would happily sell - probably at about the same price as the Chinese clone.

I'd be intersted, but not at $500.... for a little more I could have a KX2 with a warranty and a company to go to if it breaks after that.

the company making these, Quanzhou Risen Electronics Co, have been making radios since 1987. i doubt they are using any different parts and maybe even better parts than M0NKA is using. truth be told, they could even be the company that Chris gets his boards from in the first place.

Connect Systems is showing this radio to gather interest in it as a product to sell at Hamvention.
They were also showing their 'enhanced' version of the x108 as a CS-108G  Both were listed as $399.

Question:
Is anyone aware of a bluetooth interface that has a mic & speaker jack that can be used as a sound card interface?
I'd like to connect via bluetooth to run psk31 from a laptop or tablet.  (or other digital modes.)
A finished product that has some commercial vendor support and I'd be interested.  IFF I can run digital modes.  Preferably from a tablet (with keyboard).
thx

im calling BS on their so called "spectrum Analyzer". even so, im getting ready to pull the trigger on the X108. $400 is a much better price than the $520 they usually sell for. even used they are running $350+.

I just bought the CS108G+ for $399

It is a nice little 20w HF radio. It is easy to use. The spectrum analyzer sucks and I will never use it. It updates too slowly.  I was expecting a water fall display without the history and it isn't

But the rest of the radio I like for the price but I would not pay $520 for it.

The display OLED is nice, the controls are menu driven but intuitive.

I bought it for small man-portable battery operations from a backpack and it fits that purpose.

You must have AGC on or the receive is week and the S meter doesn't work. Why it can be turned off I don't know.
