I have both the Pi 3 and the DV Mega in a Hardened Power case, however, the Maryland D-Star image I downloaded won't start my Pi. I happen to have two Pis (both Pi3s). I do have an image that will load on both Pis. Also the Maryland D-Star won't load on either Pi. So, hopefully I've eliminated a hardware failure. My stepson (I hate sound cliche here, but he's in college for a computer related degree) downloaded the image separately and imaged it and it won't load either.
What next? I am using a 32GB class 10 mirco usb card. For the price, it's a minimal difference, and I'm not even sure I saw an 8GB (the recommended size) at the store. Is it that simple an error. Just buy a smaller card? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks |

FWIW, I never could get the MD image to work correctly on my Pi.
Try the D-Star Commander from W6KD. I've been running that for quite some time. Works great on my end. I would doubt the card size would be an issue. Just my 2¢ GL |

Did you format the card for FAT32? I did. My Step-son tried NTSC. No-Go either way. |

What windows are you running? Did you get the SDImager.exe with it? Thats the program to format and then write the image to the SD. Windows 7, I used the image program that came when I downloaded the setup file. I did not use win32. It looks like the W6KD image only works with the UHF single band DV Mega, so I'll have to get this running or try one of the other images. |
