| On Saturday, I successfully completed the technician and general class tests. As of 5:00 pm today I'm already showing up in the FCC database but only as a Technician. Do you think this will be corrected automatically or should I contact someone? |

I would wait until tomorrow to panic, my vanity call showed up as a tech the first day it appeared in the ULS, the next morning all was well. You still have your CSCE right? you should have been given a copy. If your call still shows you as a technician tomorrow and your CSCE is validated given you credits for the tech and general elements, call the number for the head VE from your testing group. They are the first place to start.
If you have a CSCE that shows general class you should be able to operate with your call and that certificate in the general frequency allocations. Congratulations on passing your test, hope to see you out on the air waves |

I'd wait a day or two and see if it updates.
The FCC seems to be a little wonky again. We have candidates that passed almost 3 weeks ago who still haven't shown up on the FCC's web page. I talked to the ARRL today and all the paperwork was fine and forwarded in a timely matter so the delay is on the Fed end. Call or email the contact you used to initially schedule your exam if it doesn't correct itself. Congratulations
