I am trying to program a local D-Star repeater in to my ID-5100 mobile radio and I can not figure out what I am missing in the programming file for me to be able to use the D-Star repeater. Here's how I did it. 145.340- WX4EMA C WX4EMA G 12.5 CQCQCQ Is D-Star digital 12.5? |

I was about to say that if you're local, I'll help.. but then I noticed it was a 5100, not a 51. :-/ Programming these beasts without software is not something I'm willing to entertain. Wait... doesn't the 5100 ship with some sort of basic programming software? Even if it does, I'll encourage you to look at the RT systems offering for it. Downloading a full local list from inside the program then shooting it to my 51 was incredibly convenient. Are you already registered on the D-Star system? http://www.dstargateway.org/D-Star_Registration.html There's at least one member here who admins a D-Star node that can get your registration expedited, but only if you initiate it from their system. I'm sure he'll stop by sooner or later. |
