You will need a tactical SHTF dipole(s)

Next time pick some harmonic frequencies.

My radio doesnt do MC, only Mhz. Can I still talk to you somehow?

I don't own anything that will transmit on any of those frequencies other than 223 MHz.

There's always some dipshit on it.

I'm surprised 87 MHz hasn't been mentioned yet.

Ah, drinking and posting. It gives me warm memories of when I used to peruse GD...

Just use the cycles to hertz conversion ratio of 87.1 to 1

7.62Mhz  fuck yeah.

Might as well do 6.8Mhz also

I need a bigger dipole for 3006Khz

I still think we need to come up with our own ALE net (if that's not somehow illegal now like everything else).

I have started many times to build a plugin for fldigi that would act like ALE it would scan a freq list, then scan modes to get the best throughput. It is a lot more complicated once I get started though.

There is some ALE windows software but I haven't ever messed with it.

I converted my radios back to Megacycles.  I am now making a nifty Mhz* to MC converter kit
I can sell you for only $499.99 with free shipping.

* Mhz... I never liked those metric frequencies anyway.

That better?  She's not dressed like that anymore, back to Izzy HB front end.  Much easier to control in FA.

would this work?  seems kind of like the functionality you guys are talking about.  does periodic sounding, can do group or one person messages, can send alerts, etc.
while not intending to be a fully functioning Automatic Link Establishment system, FSQCALL does perform some of the same function as ALE.

You joke, but I picked the arfcom simplex 2m and 440 oddball frequencies for a reason, so that they'd be easy to remember.
