| I built one of these though mine is an earlier version of the H.F. Packer it works well. |

Yeah the HF packer is nicer in a few ways compared to the china mart amp. But it is heavier, bulkier, and more expensive in kit form. In terms of functionality the China Matt amp is better IMO. |

THP is bigger, and heavier, has auto band switching, SWR protection. |
