My trials and tribulations with the fluorescent ballasts got me to thinking about my water heater that is approaching 20 years old. When it finally goes belly up is not the time to find which ones cause interference. I'm sure there are other hams facing the same situation that would like a heads up for troublesome units. We could also extend this to heat pumps and other appliances
Who has a heater with the new solid state controls? If so, what make and model is it and does it cause RF interference? |
