Does anyone have any experience with this antenna? Hoping to use this antenna with a Diamond hatchback mount halfway up the lift gate of my 4 runner and can't have the antenna extend too much past the top of my car due to my low garage ceiling.

I have the Comet SSB5 on a Front Fender Mount on my E350 Millennium Falcon....not what you asked, but posted for another option that may allow you a larger gain antenna

My buddy ran one on his motorcycle for a while and liked it. He sometimes runs it on the top of his Montero if he's concerned about clearance issues instead of his usual half wave.

You'd probably be better off with a fender mount SSB-2 (little more gain). Look at the Larsen NMO 2/70 on a fender mount...if it meets your clearance specs that would be the my suggestion.
