Is anyone running a digital (PSK31 et al) through their HT? If so what all have you done to slave your tablet or phone to your HT? What performance have you had with your set up? Oh and pics rock!

I have done a lot of digital stuff using an HT with our local ARES group. But, I was just holding the HT up to the computer speaker and the computer (laptop) built in microphone.
I don't think that is what you are looking for, but............................... FWIW: we do this all the time for training/drills. But I question whether this would be viable during real life incidents. I think that being in a command post or in a crowded Red Cross shelter and trying to do this would be questionable and annoying to everybody else around you. I keep meaning to set up a mobile with a Signlink and cables. |
