SWEET!

What made you pick this one over a Flex?

When are you going to paint it orange?

First off, it's amazing how a blue rectangle can be so gorgeous
Secondly, holy crap that thing is high dollar!

Have fun (not that your going to need my exhortation to do so)

There a few reasons why, but mainly price.

Doubt I will paint it.  Probably will just stick it back behind the desk and never look at it.  All the RX and TX audio goes across the LAN so doesn't do much other than take up desk space.

My IC-7600 had a board fail on it and got tired of not being able to play radio.  Got this radio yesterday and find out the 7600 is fixed and headed back my way.  Guess it's time to start putting together ads for the 7600.

Looks great!  I wonder if they went with blue because of the Flex 3000 being blue?

Does that one have the new version RF board in it?

If you don't know you should run this check. RX2 goes straight to the RX2 antenna port with no switching to ground during transmit in the new board version. They did this to facilitate full duplex op. So becareful  not to kill your new radio. No worries if you have to older version,
How to tell which version rf board you have.

No, this was first a release 200D.  Running PureSignal at 1KW perfectly.

Yeah, I was aware of that.  This latest release of 200Ds is going to a have little learning curve for the PureSignal.

Good

I understand why they made the change but they should have notified new buyers of the change.
