CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Any plans with regards to HF radios/antennas in your immediate future???
To stay true to the Arfcom "by-laws", you will need to post pictures of any and all currently owned or "on order" ham gear!

I'm of simple tastes...
Truck has a yaesu ft857d with an atas120 hf antenna
Base is an icom ic7000 with ldg tuner, singalink, and a g5rv wire...

I shall add pictures to this post shortly

CONGRATULATIONS!

Another 2015 General Upgrade, I think you are number 3 so far.

You are well on your way but what are you buying yourself for the upgrade present?

^^^^^  planes are even more expensive than radios.  That one looks more expensive than my 3 combined.

Expense = # Engines squared.

So I decided to get into something less expensive . . . guns and radios.

Oh, uh, not a 310.

Nevermind.  My excitement got away from me a bit.

Good luck!  If you are still looking for challenges after that, go for the GROL!  That is where I stand now; Extra since 2000 and GROL w/ RADAR since 11/2014.

Sky King was my nickname in high school because I was the only one with a pilot's license.  The pic is of my 1965 Cessna 320 Sky Knight . . . essentially a turbo 310.  The real Sky King's first plane was a Cessna T-50 Bobcat and then he switched to the 310.  Not that I watched the show much.

Back on topic, sort of.  The 320 had a King HF rig in it that I never used.
