Just bagged Alaska, the last state I needed for my own informal WAS list. Every contact using SSB and no more than 5w, using my FT-817ND and either an End Fedz 10/20/40 or the AlexLoop. What next? DXCC? WAS SSB <1w?

Here I thought I was doing good with 49 states confirmed on phone with 50 watts. Congrats!

I got an FT-817ND last month and I'm hooked on portable QRP, doing PSK-31. WAS on SSB with one is most impressive.

Nice. Congrats

Did you confirm all the contacts ?

Yeah, I would do DXCC next. I have QRP DXCC but I did all mine on CW which would be far easier than using SSB. I would say what you did already is far more difficult than QRP DXCC with CW.
Of course you can work on milliwatt WAS at the same time. No reason to specialize

No, I don't confirm my contacts. If I positively get my callsign to the other guy, it gets written down in my notebook.  I couldn't care less about paper awards, and can't be bothered to setup an electronic log. I just keep my own informal WAS/DX list in my notebook. I've been raked over the coals on other forums for horrors of all horrors not confirming other paper chasers contacts but that's just the way it is...

I'm about half way to DXCC w/ 5w SSB, and need to finish up Worked All Canada so I might start there...

I recently got my WAS mixed when I made a SSB contact with W1AW/7 in Wyoming.  All contacts confirmed through LoTW and got the certificate hanging on the wall.

I remember when you were too scared to turn your rig on.
