A lawn mower wins the battle against coax laying on the ground every time. At least it did this time. Been down since Sunday lol.

Kind of lucky I'm not replacing a mower deck or the hubs on it. Dad ran over it and it tugged on the bulkhead connector at the wall but didn't come loose, but didn't move the end on the antenna an inch so that's a plus. I imagine if it did it would have just had the unun undone from the wires at the antenna which are just open ended spade terminals.

I had goats at my house but my parents don't want the hassle. He was literally just mowing the radial field lol.

When I was about 15,  my fathers inverted V fell down in the back yard.  I didn't know it.  For the life of me I can't remember why it wasn't obvious, but it wasn't.  Anyway, the antenna was solid copper wire, and the grass hadn't been cut in about two weeks.  My mother told me to go cut the grass. As I'm pushing the mower across the back yard, I see my father open the back door and yell something.  Just about then, the mower got yanked out of my hands, and it took off across the yard as the antenna wire got wound up around the shaft for the blade (seriously). My father just turned around and went back inside.

I thought I was in trouble.  Nope...my mother told him it was his own fault for not picking his antenna up sooner.

I cut a new 100' piece the same way when I put up my vertical. Oops. Top notch on the mower only in the back yard.
