Ok so I know this isn't "APRS" but in my mind resembles it and uses todays technology. I know Mr Bruninga didn't design it as a vehicle tracker but, let's be honest, that is what it has become. Everyone around here uses this "waze" app. I thought it was just a navigation app so I have put it off. I finally installed it and playing around with it have discovered it is alot more then point to point directions. Now with SDRs starting to bridge the gap from RF to todays tech imagine having this app over 2m using your phones built in GPS. APRSdroid is as close as it could be just not as polished.

I've used Waze for years, and am in the top 10% of contributors. One of the best features is the "crowd sourced" traffic and hazard data. Sending alerts about speed traps, road construction, accidents, etc., has saved me tons of time over the years. It's my favorite nav app for my phone.
