| You're not missing anything. I doubt you'll you'll find a datasheet on that unless you contact someone with access to the NEC archive vault, if that info even still exists. Looks like a proprietary chip for receiver production 30 years ago. Sad to say, but probably obsolete and forgotten. Reminds me of the special chip made by Ricoh for Icom and used in the IC-R71 receivers and IC-751 transceivers, etc. Built for a purpose and completely abandoned when newer tech came along months or years later. |
