How in the heck do you set up the consecutive qso counter for contesting in DM780 macros?

qs0+ will increase the counter as you log them, but I have no idea how to set it at zero & make it start from there.

Can somebody post how to use this tag in a macro please? I've searched & read the manual, it simply doesn't say anywhere.

Very much appreciated,

<his:callsign> 599 <his:sent_exch> 599 <his:sent_exch> de <my:callsign><stop>

This is the macro, but you need to put this [001] as below to increment the counter.

When you log the contact the counter will go up one to [002].

If you close the program DM780 will not remember your last contact number, so you must put the next number in the bracket to start counting again.

Glad I could help you out.

I have been using FLDIGI in contest mode lately and have found it much easier to use.

When the contest is over I export the logbook and import it to my HRD logbook.
