I picked one up at the Orlando Hamcation earlier today.
I ran out 31ish feet of the counterpoise and I'm picking up stations immediately. Right now I'm listening to 7.156.00, an operator in Maryland.

Buddistick can be a pain to tune. I always bring an antenna analyzer to speed up the process. I also found that it tunes much easier if you place the coil between the first and second mast sections.
It seems to work ok but I usually get two S units improvement while using a G5RV JR at 15+ft above ground. |
