I picked one up at the Orlando Hamcation earlier today.

I ran out 31ish feet of the counterpoise and I'm picking up stations immediately.

Right now I'm listening to 7.156.00, an operator in Maryland.

Yup I used the videos from YouTube to learn how to set my counterpoise. A 20m 1/4w vertical isn't very big and you can order extra extensions from them.

My Buddistick with 6 section shockcord extension and additional 44" section with cap hat. About 12' tall mounted on top of a double stacked connex living container, so call it 18' up for about 30 or so feet high.

Buddistick can be a pain to tune. I always bring an antenna analyzer to speed up the process. I also found that it tunes much easier if you place the coil between the first and second mast sections.
It seems to work ok but I usually get two S units improvement while using a G5RV JR  at 15+ft above ground.

Those pictures are surreal.  If I took pics like those at my house I'd be worried I was going to get hit by lightning at any moment!

It's really just the camera picking up the glow of city lights.
