After two weeks of waiting, I am in! A buddy at work bugged me and reading this forum finally got me motivated to do it.
I tested on the 14th and finally had my call sign posted yesterday. Decided to get both, Tech and General. I have my mobile radio already, an FT-8800R and lots of HT from the Amazon sales last year. I am working on getting an HF radio as soon as I can decide on one. The EMCOMM box thread has inspired me to build one, but I am still not sure of the color yet. and just to make sure he doesn't feel left out from spending my $$ thanks ar-jedi. 
It gets expensive reading this forum. |
