For a good chunk of the planet 7.200 to 7.300 is off limits to amateurs. Primarily occupied by state run radio. That's the reason you hear DX phone down to 7.050, 7.076, etc. Not enough bandwidth otherwise.
On the plus side use 7.200 to 7.300 for stateside QSOs and as a propagation beacon. |
