Got my AIM 4170.
AIM 4170 Here's some screen caps of some basic scans I did on a few of my antennas... 20m scan of the G5RV 
30m of the G5RV 
40m of the G5RV

Now some of the 50 ohm and 75 ohm twin j-poles I have up... 50 ohm cable to 50 ohm j-pole 
75 ohm cable to 75 ohm tuned j-pole 
75 ohm setup with a 75 ohm stub (that is not optimal) 
Can't wait to sort out all the fun stuff this thing can do. As a minimum I hope to test using a drop of the 75 ohm cable out to the G5RV to see how bad it mucks things up vs dropping the line losses. Also plan to drop the 20m moxon and calibrate out its feed cable to see what it really looks like impedance-wise. Same for the G5RV, but don't have to drop it. |
