Just checked my LOTW and my 99th and 100th qsl just rolled in! 99 was HB0/HB9CVQ in Liechtenstein. His QRZ page said he's had trouble with people using his callsign, but evidently this was really him.
#100 was NH0J in the Mariana Islands. Worked them a couple days ago. They were running simplex with a moderate pileup. Called a few times, no joy. Then they added UP after their call. I quick hit the XIT button(usually set at 1 khz or so) and sent my call. When the QRM from all the stations that didn't listen cleared, he came right back with my call. Got my 100th qsl for VUCC satellite last week also....need to figure out how to apply for some awards now. |

Congrats!!!! The dxcc desk just approved my DXCC Phone application using LOTW about ten minutes ago. I filed it on OCT 6 and sent the check the next day . You will only have 2 weeks of thinking is it here yet. It will take less time if you use a credit card. The certificate they give you is too damned big. I took mine to Kinkos and had them make me a couple 8.5 x 11 copies so I can frame them easily without having to get a Mona Lisa sized frame. A framed copy also graces the galley wall on the boat I run. |

Piccolo, How did they ship it.... large envelope or mailing tube? http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_10_22/669034_DXCC_shipping.html |
| Awesome! Keep going, it gets more and more fun as it goes along. The next step is 150, which isn't too much harder than the standard 100. Then things get trickier. A nice bonus when you get over 150, is that you can become a card checker and give back to the DX community. |

I think I'm up around 130 worked, but as much as I like getting dx qsl cards, I've been slacking lately on sending any out. I didn't realize that, I wouldn't mind doing something like that....the nearest DXCC checker is at least 80 miles from here. |

You won't be able to check 160m cards, because they are "special", dont get me started, you have to obtain DXCC on 160m to check those cards . Those checkers are even more rare. Thankfully the checker in my town is an avid 160m op.

Got my 12m DXCC cert and 150 15m endorsement today! Up to 8 DXCC certs now. Wow ![]() Now all the "easy" ones are done. I have to either work 11 new ones on 40m or send out some cards. 3/4 of the way on 30 half way on 80m. 160m and 6m are gonna be tricky at best. |

That is a lot of money hanging on the wall. Thankfully since my car accident, I have had an awards sponsor |

Here is my "collection" so far... A long way to go to get a few bands, and a 80 more countries left to work. Good thing this is a life time hobby http://i1021.photobucket.com/albums/af339/Bigbadjon82/Snapbucket/7ef0d774-22ff-4986-9320-97d3af72df8d_zps04e44955.jpg That is impressive! So evidently you get a new certificate for each band and mode? I need one more to get dxcc cw. |
