here i sit in Washingon Pa, entire fam in hotel room, drove nearly 10 hrs, forgot Emcomm Box, have the Wouxun, left the manual, and forgot to ask Pic which repeater he used up here....oh and btw: not a peep on the calling freqs all the way up here... Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

when I'm someplace I don't know the repeaters, I tend to look for club repeaters. They tend to have the most traffic. I'd start with http://www.wacomarc.org/
they have a PDF detailing coverage and repeater info http://www.wacomarc.org/documents/K3PSP_Upgrade.pdf it list the 146.790(-600) repeater with a 131.8 PL |

I told him to pack up and come here but he said he had a wife and 5 kids.
"So what? I have a couple couches you and the wife can sleep on and there's plenty of room on the floor for the kids. If I run out of blankets they can roll up in the rugs or cover up with a couple of coats. I got a big yard, slingshots and BB guns for the kids and later tonight after dark they can take 5 gallons of Highway yellow paint six doors down and paint someone's house. They'll have a blast." He said, "Maybe next time." |
