The two days (at about 8 hours per day) it took me to get the Clipperton Island DXpedition on 15 meters, is what convinced me that a panadapter would be a useful tool. It was a frustrating and exhausting couple of days.
On the other hand, it was also when I started getting pretty good at sending my call sign using CW. 
Oh, and as long as I was spending money, I got the SVGA adapter to go along with the P3. I figure I'll probably want to use that option at some point in the future, so may as well go for it now. |
