PSK Reporter.  I use it all the time to see what conditions are like, and also see where I am being heard.

This is the same map showing my signals with how long ago they were received.

That's really cool.

I just wish I knew exactly what is means...

I'm getting it, but slowly.

Basically, radio waves love to travel along the area between daylight and darkness.  If it is dusk where you are, and dawn in South Africa, you can have a decent shot at getting them.  With the length of the day changing constantly, it will drop new opportunities into your lap all throughout the year.  It is cool stuff.

I just worked Oman on 17m at his grayline.  His signal was 20 over nine!  It works

I do the same thing, lets you know where your best spot it

Though many times I go off on my own and start calling then see who can hear me

Cool, thanks for explaining that! I have not heard about the day/dark part of it. Makes more sense now!

Here's a link to a short article I found online a couple of years ago that explains Gray Line Propagation if anyone is interested. I thought it was a pretty good explanation.

Using the grey line method, I have confirmed 61 new countries for DXCC on CW since January of 2013.

Wicked cool. I will be on the radio soon, the other guys are shamelessly hogging it.

Gray line is definitely fun, I got Hungary on 80m with 100 watts into a wire at dusk a few weeks ago

17m has been really fun around dusk and dawn lately also
