I have Amateur Call Log (ACL)
With LOTW (Logbook of the world it works fine). If I Export fronm ACL to eQSL it is fine, (eQSL imports it right) If I download from eQSL and try to import to ACL all the contacts are dupes in ACL QRZ winds up making dupes both ways. For the most part I will probably just stick with LOTW since it seems to be working right. But I have some QSLs being confirmed on eQSL and QRZ and not on LOTW. Do I just wait in hopes they get on LOTW or??? Thank you PS: ver 3.4 of Amateur Call Log is out |

When I first started, I wanted to have the eQSL indicated my ACL logbook, so I would manually enter it (I used an "E" to show a QSL from eQSL). But, that was a pain, so I don't bother anymore. In fact, I actually don't want it in my ACL logbook, because basically, the ARRL doesn't accept any eQSLs for awards, anyway. Having the eQSL in ACL makes it difficult to tell if I have a legitimate QSL in the eyes of the ARRL. I still upload my contacts to eQSL, but I only use it as a "nice to know" reference.
If someone doesn't use LoTW, and I need their QSL for DXCC ( WAS, etc), then I send them an old fashion QSL card, and wait to get one in return. The only time I indicate that I have received a QSL in ACL, is if it is from LoTW, or a paper QSL. |
