For UHF/VHF base use. Ed Fong 2m/440 PVC pipe or Jetstream JBT2 fiberglass vertical 2m/440? Probably about 20 feet above ground. |

Fong will cost you 1/2 on the front end-but then you have to buy or fab a mount. I love mine-excellent reports all the way around.
I'd bet the Jetstream or similar would have more gain, and there is the mount that is included with the antenna. I considered this and the #3 before I bought the Fong, wanted to try something different-and the 1/2 price thing influenced as well  I was shopping here done biz with him in past-stand up dude. Fong was great as well
