Picked it up at the hamfest, I was told the 104c has a ceramic mic element and are harder to find, the price was right so either way I am good with the pick.
Anyone have any info on these, and will the ceramic element sound better than the crystal. I needed another mic for the other pick. Kenwood TS-520s with both filters and DC converter installed, VF0-520s, SP-520S, 2 meter transverter with cable, and an old Kantronics TNC for $250.00 |

Who did you buy it from, if you don't mind me asking? I've got a good friend who runs a elmering club in Chesapeake that sells a lot of gear for fundraising purposes and I'm pretty sure I saw one of those mics among his "to sell" pile last time I was at his place.
edit: the mic, I mean. Congrats on the new rig, too. Those things are pretty slick. |
